Each day is New day at IFTI

Each day at the Indian Film & Television Institute is like a breath of fresh air, something new and different to offer just like the freshness of the morning sun, and the coolness of the dark night!

7th march,2011 was a day to remember at IFTI, when the students of the passing out Acting batch presented their learning of last 6 months in a powerfully perfromed 1hr 40 min play, "ADHE ADHURE" written by renowned writer Mohan Rakesh. The play was directed under the tutelage of HOD of the Acting stream, Mr. Paintal and faculty under him, Mr.Sandeep Mahajan, who had some tough time to motivate and prepare his pupils to do such a mature and powerful play. After a month of dilly dallying, dropping out of some students from the play, the play rehearsals finally took off and the results were more than satisfying. All the students- Pramod, Varsha, Ali, Raunak, Renu, Anil and Megha did their best and earned accolades from the audience especially the veterans sitting on the velvet chairs of the awsome auditorium, well named as the Box Office.

The veterans who motivated the students on their fine performance were none other than theatre and TV personality Srivardhan Trivedi who has left indelible impact on many viewers through his hit crime show, "SANSANI" and the great actor Kanwarjit Paintal, fondly known as PAINTAL who has won many a heart by his funny, and endearing acts in well known films like Jawani Diwani & Satte Pe Satta.

7th March, indeed a day to remember!!!
