Students get Hands On Training!

In media industry, particularly in the creative and the technical side of film making and television production, it is highly imperative for a learner or a student to get the REAL feel of the gadgets, equipment, and the REAL Life that gets transformed into the REEL life. Students studying film technology, grammar of television, aspects of story telling, elements of production & post production need to go through the grit and grime of the REAL World of Production.IFTI having adopted this methodolgy for its students have been regulalrly sending students for the hands on training.

Students of Film & Television Direction are undergoing a vigorous training under veteran television professionals in Mumbai, in the ongoing TV Serial on Zee TV, "Sanjog Se Bani Sangini".The aspects of shooting & editing that they are getting exposed to at the moment are much beyond the contact hours of learning in class.Class Contact hours give them a thorough theoretical grounding, and hands on training in Real Situations, prepare them for the industry's demands.

The students of Camera & Lighting Techniques have gone through a month long hands on training under a veteran cameraman, in a forthcoming Reality Show on NDTV Imagine, ' Shaadi 3 Crore Ki' where they assisted during the shoots and gained immense experience and knowledge, clearing all their doubts regarding their subject. Students of present Camera batch too have undergone through a hands on attachment with an ongoing Film , ' Khwab' produced by Murad Khan.

Indeed, Hands On Training can give an impetus to the learning given to the students in the classroom.IFTI does just that!

  1. Public speaking skills Wow, cool post. I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real hard work to make a great article... but I put things off too much and never seem to get started. Thanks though.
